I first found Nicole on Instagram before she was signed and was struck by her high-fashion look. Once I saw her pop up in a new face announcement by The Salt Agency, I knew I had to jump on shooting with her before she got booked and busy because let's be real, it's only a matter of time!
Since moving to the Atlanta area, my photography work has mainly taken me out of state so I really wanted to use this opportunity to showcase some locations nearby. I am so passionate about Georgia and its incredible natural beauty, charming neighborhoods, and European-inspired architectural vignettes, and it was great to finally check a spot off my list! We shot in the historic downtown square and surrounding neighborhood of a suburb about an hour outside of Atlanta proper, which was the perfect backdrop for our mix of timelessly elegant and vintage whimsy looks.
Nicole was wonderful to shoot with and a total natural in front of the camera, and I would highly recommend her for any projects you may have with an editorial feel. Some fun facts I learned about her while on our shoot:
She is half Chinese and has a secret talent of playing the bamboo flute.
Her favorite food is mapo tofu, and she's a fan of picnics in the warm weather months.
Nicole is an avid world traveler, most recently visiting Morocco, and her favorite city she's been to is Tokyo. The next country on her bucket list is Thailand.
One of her dream clients to work with is Alexander Wang.
She is a very talented artist (you can see her drawings on her art account here), and also takes improv classes in Atlanta in her free time.
