I recently had the opportunity to shoot a campaign on location in Charleston, South Carolina for Smith & Quinn's Summer 2025 Collection: A Seaside Escape. Charleston was so charming, and I loved the cobblestone streets, European-inspired architecture, and plentiful mix of colors and stylistic vignettes.
Working on location is a favorite of mine, as I'm always looking to tell a story with clothing. We shot a mix of sport and ready-to-wear looks, and I was able to shoot in what I think is the most enjoyable manner: minimal gear, natural light, just strolling around and stopping to shoot in a multitude of corners to get the most scenic variety we can. And of course taking a break here and there to snack on local eats ;)
Charleston is truly a treasure trove for photography, and we barely scratched the surface of locations one could use there. Special thank you to all the residents and small businesses who were so welcoming and let us shoot in their stores, with their cars and bikes, and more!
